Bruxism is the ineffective rubbing of the lower teeth into the upper teeth. In daily use among people, it is called tooth grinding disease. Bruxism is usually a phenomenon that occurs during exercise or when the person feels nervous at the moment when strong jaw movements cause jaw tightening and teeth grinding. It is common in our society, but in general, individuals are not aware of these habits. “Diurnal Bruxism”, which was grasped in the daysqueezed shape of the teeth unintentionally, it is called "Nocturnal Bruxism" during night. The reason why Bruxism is well classified like that is due to the difference in treatment to be applied. Bruxism is generally seen in 5-10% of the total population according to different studies. The most common problem with Bruxism is abnormal abrasion in the teeth. With regard to muscles and temporomandibular joints, pain, stiffness and fatigue in the muscles, impaired coordination, limitation in jaw movements, "click" noise in the joints and locking in the jaw can lead to locking. Bruxism is generally a research topic of the psychiatric and dentistry science branch in terms of treatment methods and psychological formation on teeth. But engineering is a very untouched field especially in the field of ElectronicComputer Engineering science branches. Our aim in this study is to make a literature review of Bruxism's disease in terms of diagnosis-treatment methods in Electronic-Computer Engineering and to provide a source for future studies.
